Ages 5 and up are suggested along with prior skating experience. A player must be able to skate unassisted.

1. What should my child wear? Children registered in the Whack-a-puck program are required to wear full hockey gear. Regulation hockey helmet with full mask, Shoulder pads, Elbow pads, Hockey gloves, Hockey pants, Shin pads, Hockey skates, Athletic supporter, Hockey stick, Mouth piece (optional), Hockey socks & hockey shirt will be supplied by Saugus/Lynnfield Youth Hockey.
2. Can parents skate with their child? There are a very limited number of coaching positions available for the upcoming season. The program welcomes new coaching applicants with prior hockey experience to volunteer as a Whack-a-puck coach. All applicants will undergo a C.O.R.I background check.
