Frequently asked questions:
1. What should my child wear? A hockey helmet with mask is strongly recommended. A bicycle helmet is the minimal requirement. Kneepads without plastic padding (plastic makes it difficult to stand up) are recommended. Hockey gloves, mittens or winter gloves are required. Since the children are learning and will fall, snow or nylon pants are also recommended so the children remain dry during the lesson.
2. Can the parents skate with their child? Volunteers that have filled out CORI forms will be assigned to a group of children. Parents that do not have a helmet and have not filled out the proper paperwork will not be allowed on the ice.
Please note, there is no discount applied if you decide to join session 2 at a later date
