- If your child is participating in a "Test and Stay" program at school OR is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, they may attend on-ice events provided they test negative.
- If not particpating in a "Test and Stay" program at school, we recommend that your child be tested for Covid-19 prior to attending on-ice events for 10-days from exposure.
- Monitor for symptoms of illness and take the temperature of you and your child prior to coming to the rink (home or away).

Program Protocols
Reporting of Illness. Promptly report to your Head Coach and SLYH President by email if you or a household member are sick. Do not come to the rink while waiting for the results of a Covid-19 test.
- You will not be penalized for missing hockey for these reasons and your commitment will not be questioned if you communicate promptly, openly and honestly.
Medical Diagnosis & Covid-19 Testing. Promptly seek a medical diagnosis if you are sick and report to your Head Coach and SLYH President via email whether you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 (yes or no).
- If you have tested positive for Covid-19, you may not participate in SLYH activities for a minimum period of 5-days from onset of symptoms or the date of the first positive test. You must also provide documentation of a future negative Covid-19 test to the Head Coach and/or SLYH President in order to return to SLYH activities, OR a letter from your doctor stating that you are non-contagious.
